Mostly it was amusing, though sometimes it bordered on annoying. " I really liked both characters in this book. Full of romance and mystery and confuseing emotions.

Caroline Richmond returns to England and her father after 14 years in Boston. This story took place in early 1800's England.

" If you see the words arrogant and disgruntled I know I'm reading a Julie Garwood book. Unfortunately, I didn't love this book as much as all the other books I have read by Garwood.

" it was a good book but i did not enjoy it as much as the one I read before this "the Lion's Lady". " I love Rebellious Desire that is once again fast, fun and easy to read like all of the other Julie Garwood's books I have read. " Definitely not among my favorite Julie Garwood novels. What made the book interesting was that she had a solid base from which to start. Her writing has really improved, and her plots and character development has improved by leaps and bounds. " It was fun to read an early work of hers. " Love her, but this isn't one of my favorites. Getting it on sale for less than $4 was a plus. As always, I think abridgments leave the reader just a little confused since background info and character motives are often left out, but the book was enjoyable. The narration was decent if not inspired, and the story had no major flaws. " I bought the abridged Rebellious Desire on audio to complete the Speaking of Audiobooks 2011 Listening Challenge (listen to an abridged book). Since I'm a fan of historical romances, this book did not pass my taste. " not her best work, but still one of my favorite authors ever!!! " - Kelley, Don't expect a whole lot of depth but the characters are likeable enough.
